A 21 years old talented young man, was born May 3rd, 1991 in Tokyo. He has been around ocean and music from his early life, influenced by his father who’s hobbies are guitar and surfing. He started to be interested in music from 3 years old, since his grandmother gifted Dai an Ukulele. His soft and gentle voice, soothing lyrics and melody has attracted many fans.
In May 11th, 2011, his debut mini album “OHANA” made 3rd in the iTunes overall chart in Japan. In May 2012, he released his first album “ALOHA” and made Number 1 in the iTunes overall chart in Japan and also, elected for the BEST OF 2012 J-pop New Artist in Japan iTunes.

Dai Hirai is now 19 years old and he started playing ukulele when he was in the fifth grade and was influenced by his father. Top ukulele artists, such as Jake Shimabukuro and Herb Ohta Jr. inspired him, which even quickened his learning speed.
