Double Dutch is a sport where members perform various acts within the movement of two ropes. Our group is considered the best Double Dutch group in the Kansai area. We have competed in contests in the Kansai area as well as nationally. We teach Double Dutch at elementary schools in order to increase the popularity of this sport. We would like to show you our best performance here at the Honolulu Festival.
Our group World Wings, a baton group from Osaka, has competed and placed first in All Japan and International competitions. We have performed at Tokyo Disneyland, professional baseball games, events during the Sydney Olympics, WNBA Basketball events, major league events and at the Great Wall of China. By touring overseas we hope to promote cultural exchange and deepen mutual understanding.

We will be dancing Hawaii's traditional hula. Hula is very popular in Japan.
We hope to promote cultural exchange through this graceful dance. We will be dancing with all our hearts once again and hope that you will cheer us on.

This is our fourth consecutive year to participate in the Honolulu Festival. We are the students of Sonoda Gakuen High School from Amagasaki City in Hyogo Prefecture. Our school is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. We, 179 Liberal Arts junior class students, will perform a dance at the Grand Parade which we have been practicing since last April. We will surpass what the seniors did last year and show you a better performance. The seniors have inspired and motivated us further to practice every day. We will show you a youthful and energetic performance, based on our motto: "Energy, motivation and courage".
