[ Contact Form ] Q: Is there a deadline? A: Please let us know of your intention to participate by the end of January. There is a limit to the number of vendors that will be accepted. Therefore, depending on the circumstances we may have to close off applications prior to the January deadline. We suggest that you expedite your application if you plan to participate in the Craft Fair. Q: What is the cancellation policy? A: The deposit of $200 per booth is not refundable once you have applied and sent in your money. Q: When can we set up? A: You can set up the day before the Honolulu Festival is open to the public. Volunteer  Q: Is there a minimum or maximum age that you require of your volunteers? A: Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older in order to volunteer as a staff member during the Honolulu Festival. Parade volunteers (mikoshi carriers, etc.) 12 years of age and under must be accompanied by parent/guardian. Parade volunteers 13 – 18 years of age can participate without chaperone by providing permission slip from parent/guardian. Q: Can only one person volunteer or does it have to be a social group? A: There are no restrictions to the size of volunteer groups. Q: What are the activities that volunteers will be involved in? A: Please go to Volunteer Page on our website for details. 　[ Volunteer Page ] Q: Can we request for specific activity? A: We will take your request for a specific activity however there will be times when it may not be granted due to the limit to the number of volunteers needed for each activity. Q: Is there an application? A: Please apply online on the Volunteer Page of our website. We will start accepting volunteers from the end of January. [ Volunteer Page ] Q: Is there a deadline? A: The deadline is normally the middle of February. We will notify exact dates on the Volunteer Page once we start accepting volunteers. Q: Does the volunteer package come with any fringe benefits? A: Benefits may depend on the type of volunteer that you will be participating as, however some of the benefits include Honolulu Festival's original Happi, Honolulu Festival Volunteer T-shirt and McDonald's meal certificate.
