We are GETAPPERS from Waseda University in Tokyo. We are the only dance troupe in Japan that wears geta (traditional Japanese footwear) while dancing. We hope to make everyone happy and have a great time with our smile and unique performance!

We are “Getappers”, a performance circle of Waseda University that dances in Japanese traditional footwear called “geta”. We will perform in traditional attire and send our full passions and glistening smiles to the audiences.

“Getappers” is a dance circle group of Waseda University. Dancers of “Getappers” will wear and dance with a traditional Japanese wooden shoes called “Geta”. We hope everyone will enjoy the performance fulfilled with our full energy, passion and smiles.

Geta (Japanese wooden clogs) and tap, getap. We will “getap” with our best smiles and passion! We will show you a unique rhythmic performance dressed in yukata, a matsuri costume. Our dance troupe is different from the regular tap dance, it is a totally new dance genre.
