Hawaii Mikoshi are made up of Mikoshi volunteer enthusiast from Hawaii and the Pacific Rim. We enjoy the camaraderie that’s involved with carrying the Mikoshi or portable shrine. Taiko music is provided by Kenny Endo and his Taiko Center of the Pacific students. The name of this Mikoshi is Hawaii Izumo Taisha. The weight is about 800+lbs.
