It is a wonderful opportunity to dance on this grand stage in Hawaii, we are delighted and afraid at the same time. When we think about it, our hearts beat rapidly. We have practiced as much as we can in a short period of time since we decided on participating in the Honolulu Festival. Although inexperienced, we will do our best. Please cheer for us.
Our halau is from Fukuoka, Kyushu. This is our second time to perform at the Honolulu Festival. We were overwhelmed with emotions when we danced on the huge stage last year. Many of our members have changed and it will be the first time for many members to dance on Honolulu Festival’s large stage this year. We have practiced diligently making time after our regular jobs. We are still beginners but we will do our best. Please cheer for us. Aloha!

This is the first time for many of us to visit Hawaii and it is also the first time for most of us to perform on stage. We have practiced as much as we can in a short period of time.
