We dance Yagibushi, a popular folk song and dance, to the beat and music of the taiko and flute accompaniment. We dance with paper umbrellas and hats. First and foremost we perform at our local festivals, we have also danced at various stage events throughout Japan. This year our group Tougakai is celebrating 20 years since we began. We bring the powerful and fascinating Yagibushi to Hawaii!
