Brother and Sister duo, Shannon Loo and Chanzen Loo-Carroll founded MIse Kimono in 2018 with the intent to pay homage and perpetuate the culture of their Grandmother, Tomiko Clark (Mise). With their products embodying her quirky, crazy personality they also pay homage to their Japanese ancestry by creating them to be versatile and multifunctional. Clean lines, traditional Japanese prints and designs, and imported Japanese fabric accompany every design they create whether it be handbags, apparel, or accessories. All Mise Kimono products are created in house at Mise Kimono Shop in the Queen Ka’ahumanu Center in Kahului, Maui.
