Han Wul Rim


Han Wul Rim is a group of Korean traditional percussion music lovers who want to share the knowledge of playing Korean percussion instruments, with the enjoinment of getting together, and our goal as a percussion group will be to continually perform at local and Korean community events and schools do our best to promote Korean tradition percussion music as well. We also believe that sharing great cultural experiences provides an opportunity to get to know different cultures and promote the importance of wellness.

We are Tomboys, a dance troupe from Toyo University. We copy the dance moves from Japanese idol group. Idols are culture icon of Japan and there are wide variery of songs from cute to cool, and we hope our performance will get you interested in their music!




We are AX, the Double Dutch club from Chiba University. Double Dutch is a game in which players jump two ropes with light foot movements and acrobatic tricks. Please enjoy our performance!

We are the educational recreation club from Takasaki University of Health and Welfare. We are engaged in recreational sports and dance with children. For the Honolulu Festival, we will perform “Soran Bushi,” a traditional Japanese song and dance in our hand-made costumes.

This is our first time in the Honolulu Festival. You may associate Japanese calligraphy with tranquility, but we would like to reshape the image with our dynamic calligraphy performance with music. Please enjoy the traditional cultural performance met with contemporary music!

Myoung Woo Dahn is a nonprofit organization to learn and perform Korean traditional music and dance. We have participated in local events as well as private gatherings.

Sing Yung Dragon and Lion Dance Association


Sing Yung Dragon and Lion Dance Association was founded three years ago with the mission to immerse our students and engage the community in the ideals and traditions of the Chinese culture through lion dance, dragon dance, and martial arts. As a proud lion dance group under the World Sar Ping Lion Federation; Sing Yung engages in perpetuating the art of Sar Ping Dragon and Lion Dance along with Kung Fu throughout Hawai’i.
