Next up is The Oriental Beauty, led by Taiwanese erhu musician Sun Hui, who is based in Hawai‘i.
She’s a recipient of the 2018 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award, Hawai‘i’s highest musical honor, a former First Prize winner at Taiwan’s National Erhu Competition, and even a former Tai Chi champion — which you can feel in the flow and grace of her music.
