Aloha from Taiwan! We celebrate the sister-city relationship between Honolulu and Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Today we present Prince San-Tai-Zu, a cultural figure symbolizing happiness and peace, as a gift to the people of Hawaiʻi, honoring 64 years of friendship. Joining the celebration are members of the Taiwanese community, students, and representatives from the Taipei Economic and Culture Office in Honolulu and the Hawaii Chinese Culture Service Center, united through shared Austronesian heritage that continues to strengthen cultural exchange and lasting friendship now!
