《Violinist SHOGO》
SHOGO began playing the violin at the age of five and has won numerous grand prizes at major competitions.
With roots in street performances, he has gone on to achieve great success in large-scale concerts and outdoor festivals. He has collaborated with many artists both in Japan and abroad, and even performed an officially recognized Studio Ghibli violin collaboration approved by Joe Hisaishi.
Starting in May 2026, he will embark on his JAPAN Tour, aiming for the Grammy Awards in February 2027 as a versatile and genre-defying violinist.
《Yamato Kamiyama》
Yamato Kamiyama decided to join Gekidan Sujaku after being strongly inspired by a stage performance of Taichi Saotome, whom he first saw during his third year of junior high school.
In January 2008, while still in school, he joined Gekidan Sujaku under the stage name Yamato Saotome. He began his career in popular theater and mastered a wide range of disciplines including onnagata (female-role acting), tachiyaku (male-role acting), and stage combat.
His special skills include Tsugaru shamisen, traditional Japanese dance, and folk songs. As a child, he won awards at national competitions for folk singing.
Special Collaboration Performance
For the first time, these two top-performing artists—both active in Japan—will present their debut collaborative performance abroad.
Please look forward to this special stage.
