Aloha! This is our fifth consecutive year to participate in the Honolulu Festival. Our members from Tokyo, Saitama and Kanagawa range in age from 3 to 80 years old. We are a powerful and very active group. Once again, we have Ku’uipo Kumukahi with us. Please enjoy our wonderful stage performance!

Our group is from Tokyo’s Oizumi Gakuen. We convey the true beauty of hula from our hearts. This will be our 4th time to participate in the Festival and look forward to dancing in Hawaii, where hula originated, and sharing in international cultural exchange.

One of our fond memories in 2008 was having 60 of us dance to the song created in honor of our deceased police officers “Don’t Forget our Courage” in front of an audience of 1,200 people. This will be our first time to participate in the Festival and look forward to dancing in Hawaii, where hula originated, and sharing in international cultural exchange.
