JAAA (All Japan Amateur Aerobics Association)Dance/Performance
JAAA (All Japan Amateur Aerobics Association) was started with the mission to “strive towards good health in a fun and easy way.” And because of our goal we continue to create exercise routines using various music and equipment. We encourage older people to enjoy good health and increase physical strength. We would like to increase the popularity of our activity by showing you our routines. Please come and enjoy our performance.
Our events and projects have many objectives. First it is something that can be enjoyed by the listeners as well as the performers. We also want to perform for the children of Japan who will carry on our future, so that they will not forget their heritage and cultural traditions, so that they can grow and spread their wings. Gakugeisha was established for these purposes. As we are defined by our name we preserve our traditions irregardless of school factions or political boundaries. We step out of the box of “defined” Japanese and Western music, simply to enjoy and spread the joy of the arts.
Kurume Jojima RyujindaikoDance/Performance
Kurume Jojima Ryujindaiko was created to preserve our local cultural traditions. We strive each day to pass the art of wadaiko on to the next generation as well as to develop wholesome young people. We are practicing day and night so that we may perform in perfect unison for you and share the beauty of wadaiko. This is our first time to participate at the Honolulu Festival. Unfortunately the children of our group will not be able to attend due to their busy graduation ceremony schedules. But the adult members will represent Kurume City on their behalf and do a great job. We hope that you will all come to enjoy our performance.
