JAPAN NANKIN TAMASUDARE ASSOCIATIONTraditional Performance
We perform both nationally and internationally in order to showcase Nankin Tamasudare, a traditional Japanese street performance, to people around the world. We hold the Guinness record of “the largest parade of people performing Nankin Tamasudare,” which we challenged in May 2013. We look forward to seeing all of you at the Honolulu Festival!
Lohas Festa, with the theme of “grass roots environmental movement leads to great social activities” aiming for “lifestyle with consideration for health and a sustainable society”, since 2006 in all over Japan. It is an environmental awareness event, exceeding 250,000 visitors each year.

We are mainly dancing at various school festivals and community events. Our mission is to entertain many by our performance with songs that most of you are familiar of. We are ready to show many of our attractions so please enjoy!
We are Hula Halau from Osaka consisting of 3 members that enjoy hula. We came here to perform in Hawaii before we become senile. We would like to feel the wind of Hawaii and a feeling Aloha through our whole body and master our loving hula.

We are embracing our circle of friends that enjoy hula together. Our wish is to understand the meaning of the Hawaiian music as much as possible and enjoy hula with a feeling of Aloha. Our classes are offered at Kashihara Shrine in Nara, Fujiidera in Osaka and Takanohara in Kyoto.
KWANSEI GAKUIN University KukuiHula
We love Hula dance and Hawaii. We learn a lot through Hula and thank all the people we meet and what we learn help us became a good person.
SONODA GAKUEN HIGH SCHOOLDance/Performance
We are the Sonoda Gakuen High School from Amagasaki, Hyogo, and this is our 14th time participaring in the Honolulu Festival. This year, about 300 sophomores perform the dance at the Grand Parade they have been practicing for a year. Please enjoy their cheerful and energetic dance!
This is our 3rd time participating in the Honolulu Festival. We have been participating in the festival every other year. Although hotels and shops in Hawaii have changed a lot, Hawaiian ocean, skies and atmosphere have never changed. We will dance with Aloha.
STUDIO DANCE ALIVEDance/Performance
Studio Dance Alive is directed by KAORIalive, a world-renowned dancer who hails from Kyoto. We train our mind, skill, body and improve self-expression under the motto of “Always Progressing.” Our goal is to spread the joy of expressing oneself through dancing.
We are Hula Halau “Kawehilani” and this is our 4th time to participate at the Honolulu Festival. We feel blessed to join in this wonderful event and we are happy from the bottom of our heart. We will dance with all our heart while surrounded by the breeze of our beloved Hawaii and Mana.
