Fukuoka Prefecture and the state of Hawaii established a Sister City relationship in 2009. Fukuoka’s broadcasting station, RKB Mainichi, created a local festival in order to promote cultural exchange between Fukuoka and Hawaii. “RKB Monthly” was established in Hawaii in September 2011. We would like to perform our Fukuoka Matsuri in this year’s Honolulu Festival .
