Nankin Tamasudare is a form of Japanese classical entertainment. We are from the castle town in Kanazawa, Kaga Hyakuman Goku. We create our original lyrics and techniques, mixing local colors into our performances. The implement that we hold in our hands “tamasudare” looks like a product well known in Kanazawa, one we are proud of called “kinpaku” or “gold leaf.” It expresses Kanazawa’s characteristics of being a fun and showy place.
