ALOHA! We are from Honolulu’s sister city, Chigasaki, Kanagawa. The Japanese term “Chambara” is a sword fighting performance. This year, we will perform Japanese dancing mixed with actions and many more!

We are from Chigasaki city of Kanagawa prefecture, which is a sister city of Honolulu. We are popular in the Daimyo procession at one of the fourth largest events of Chigasaki city, also known as “Ooka Echizen Matsuri (Ooka Echizen Festival)”. We will be performing Chambara (Japanese sword fight) for you on Kalakaua Avenue.
The Honolulu Festival is Hawaii's premier cultural event, promoting understanding, economic cooperation and ethnic harmony between the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim region.
