When is the Honolulu Festival?

Honolulu Festival is held every March. The next Honolulu Festival will take place on March 10(Fri)-12(Sun), 2023.

How do I sign up for the Honolulu Festival as a performer?

Please sign up as soon as possible because we will stop accepting applications once all the places are taken.

Is there a fee to participate in the Honolulu Festival?

Signing up for the Honolulu Festival is free. However, you should cover your own travel expenses, as well as the cost of equipment you might need and its shipping fee.

Can I join the parade or give a performance as an individual?

Individual participants, as opposed to groups, can join the parade only as volunteers. But you are welcome to give a stage performance and exhibit a craft booth as an individual.

Will I get paid to perform in the Honolulu Festival?

Honolulu Festival is a non-profit event that aims to promote Pan-Pacific cultural exchange. We thus cannot offer monetary compensation to our performers.

Can you arrange a personal festival guide?

There will be staff members available to assist the visitors, but for personalized service and special assistance, we can arrange a personal guide for a fee.

Can I request a specific time and date to perform?

We do take requests, but please be aware that there is no guarantee on your performance time/date.

Are there any cancellation policies?

There is no cancellation policy, as participating in the festival as a performer is free.
However, if you would like to exhibit a craft booth in addition to a performance, you will be asked to pay a deposit of $200 per booth at the time of registration, and the deposit is non-refundable.

Is there any parking for visitors?

There are no parking facilities for the Honolulu Festival visitors.
Please use parking lots near each venue.

Parking in the Hawaii Convention Center is available for $15 per entry.
