Is there an age limit for Honolulu Festival volunteers?
12 years old and over can join. Children under 18 will need a permit of the parent / guardian.
Should I sign up to volunteer as a group?
You can volunteer either as an individual or a group.
Are there any requirements for volunteers?
You must be able to follow the rules and work well in a team, as you will be working with a large group of fellow volunteers.
What kind of volunteer work will I get involved in?
We will announce the volunteer work details and application form in January 2024.
Can I specify what kind of volunteer work I want to do?
We accept your first to third choices. Please note that we cannot guarantee your preferred volunteer work as we will assign the work on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be notified regarding the details of your volunteer work via email.

Is there a deadline for volunteer application?
Deadline is scheduled for the end of February. Please sign up as soon as possible because we will stop accepting applications once all the places are taken.
Will I receive any rewards for volunteering?
It depends on your volunteer work and work shift time; we will provide some refreshments.
