Event Entry & Security Information

For the safety and comfort of all guests, the Hawaii Convention Center requires all attendees to pass through a weapons detection screening at public entry points.

What to Expect

  • Touchless and fast entry — no need to remove phones, keys, or bags
  • Simply walk through at a normal pace
  • Staff may conduct a brief secondary screening if needed

Prohibited Items Include (but are not limited to):

  • Firearms of any kind
  • Knives, blades, or sharp objects
  • Explosive devices or components
  • Brass knuckles, metal pipes, clubs
  • Unauthorized tools or objects that may be used as weapons
